Effective July 29 Solid Waste Collections Begin at 6:00am.

To combat this summer’s oppressive heat and ensure the safety of employees, the Public Works Department is adjusting solid waste collection hours. From July 29, 2024, through September 30, 2024, curbside collection of trash, recycling, special pickups, and yard waste will start at 6:00am. Residents are required to have their waste at the curb before the 6:00am start time on their scheduled pickup days. Waste containers can be placed at the curb as early as 5:00pm the evening before the scheduled collection. This change aims to protect workers from extreme temperatures while maintaining efficient waste removal services.
