The City of Bowie Gymnasium Closing for Early Voting for Primary Election

The City Gymnasium will be closed for regular actives starting May 1 at 2:00PM through May 10, at 1:00PM for Early Voting.

Early voting takes place at the Gym from May 2 to May 9, from 7:00AM to 8:00PM daily.

The 2024 Presidential Primary ElectionElection Day is Tuesday, May 14, 2024.

PGCPS Launches Graduation Season with a Blast: First-Ever College and Career Decision Day

On May 2, 2024, Prince George's County Public Schools (PGCPS) initiated the graduation season of 2024 with a dynamic College and Career Decision Day at Bowie Baysox Stadium. This first-of-its-kind district-wide celebration brought together over 3,000 seniors from multiple high schools to share their post-graduation plans. The event was a hub of excitement with the presence of college and career representatives, military exhibits, and community vendors. Radio personality Marky Marc hosted the event, adding to the festive atmosphere with special entertainment and opportunities for memorable photographs, setting a lively tone for the graduates’ future pursuits.
