The Dream It, Be It program, hosted by Bowie Youth & Family Services in collaboration with Soroptimist International of Prince George’s and Anne Arundel County, is dedicated to empowering high school girls by providing support for college and career readiness. This initiative gives young women the opportunity to explore potential careers, set personal and professional goals, and learn strategies for overcoming obstacles and recovering from setbacks. Participants have access to career education and mentoring from professional role models, which are invaluable resources for shaping their futures and achieving their dreams. The program underscores the importance of confidence and self-awareness in personal and academic development.

The City of Bowie Gymnasium Closing for Early Voting for Primary Election

The City Gymnasium will be closed for regular actives starting May 1 at 2:00PM through May 10, at 1:00PM for Early Voting.

Early voting takes place at the Gym from May 2 to May 9, from 7:00AM to 8:00PM daily.

The 2024 Presidential Primary ElectionElection Day is Tuesday, May 14, 2024.
