Beat the Bug: Simple Steps to Dodge the Norovirus This Season
Norovirus, often dubbed the "winter vomiting bug," is notorious for its rapid spread and unpleasant symptoms. But fear not! With a few simple precautions, you can guard against this unwelcome intruder.
One - Hand washing isn't just routine; it's your first line of defense. Thoroughly scrubbing your hands with soap and water can significantly reduce your risk.
Two - Disinfect surfaces regularly, especially in the kitchen, where the virus can lurk on countertops and utensils.
Three - Be cautious with food - cook seafood thoroughly and wash fruits and vegetables.
Four - Avoid close contact with anyone showing symptoms.
Five - If you're ill, stay home to prevent spreading the virus.
By embracing these five habits, you can keep norovirus at bay and ensure your days remain cheerful and healthy!
