Alongside, the company announced its plan to establish a new 30,000-square-foot, LEED Gold certified production facility aimed at boosting its manufacturing capabilities, including an extra production line to expedite the creation of EV charging units.

Positioned strategically near Washington, D.C., Blink is set to leverage Maryland's location to advance its sustainability goals, embarking on a rapid expansion to widen its market presence and enhance operational efficiency. The company is dedicated to eco-friendly practices, prioritizing employee welfare and innovative product development.

The initiative was welcomed by Maryland's state officials, aligning with their environmental and economic aspirations, notably aiming for a 100% clean energy transition by 2035. The move not only underscores Blink’s commitment to sustainable manufacturing and technological innovation but also marks a pivotal shift in domestic production under the Build America, Buy America Act, planning to increase EV charger production significantly.

The launch event saw attendance from key figures, spotlighting the move's impact on the clean energy landscape.
