Cousins Maine Lobster Sets Sail for Bowie Town Center

Bowie, is about to get a taste of authentic Maine lobster as Cousins Maine Lobster announces its stop at Bowie Town Center from 11:00am to 7:00pm.

Cousins Maine Lobster will bring the authentic flavors of Maine lobster and other seafood delights. Founded by cousins Jim Tselikis and Sabin Lomac, the brand has grown from a single food truck in Los Angeles to a nationwide phenomenon, known for its commitment to quality, freshness, and genuine Maine hospitality. The menu will feature a variety of seafood options, including their famous lobster rolls, lobster bisque, crab rolls, shrimp tacos, and New England clam chowder. Cousins Maine Lobster aims to create a welcoming atmosphere that fosters community and connection while offering a unique taste of lobster, that promises to be a favorite among residents and visitors alike.

A Glimpse Into the Future: Bowie State's Life-Saving Robot Demonstration

Bowie State University recently showcased a groundbreaking rescue robot during a demonstration on campus, highlighting the university's innovation in developing technology designed to save lives in dangerous environments. The robot, created by the engineering department's faculty and students, is equipped with advanced sensors like thermal imaging and sonar to locate people in disaster-stricken areas. Demonstrated in a simulated disaster scenario, it showed its ability to navigate through debris and tight spaces, emphasizing its potential in aiding search and rescue operations. Led by the fictional Professor Jane Doe, the project aims to refine the robot's capabilities for real-world applications, underscoring Bowie State University's commitment to technological advancement and community service.
