Maryland First Major Snow of 2024 Looms Over Maryland, Northeastern U.S.

Maryland is preparing for a potential major winter storm this weekend, which could bring the first significant snowfall of 2024 to the region. The storm may impact a wide area from the Appalachians to New England. Baltimore's weather will largely depend on the storm's trajectory and strength, with forecasts suggesting varying snowfall across the state. The Eastern Shore might initially see snow, then rain, while the rest of Maryland expects a mix of precipitation types. The weather is expected to clear up by Sunday.

Prince George’s County Native and NBA Basketball Star’s Durant Foundation donated $500,000 to Bowie State University

Prince George’s County Basketball Star, Kevin Durant, of the Durant Foundation donated $500,000 to Bowie State University for a pro style basketball court and facility upgrades. Kevin’s mom, Wanda Durant was on location at Bowie State University. The gift was announced in December 2022 and was completed in September 2023.
