Bowiefest 2025 Canceled Due to Weather

It is with disappointment that we share the cancellation of Bowiefest, originally scheduled for Saturday, June 7th, at Allen Pond Park. Due to forecasts calling for rain and thunderstorms, the city has made the difficult decision to call off this annual tradition. Unfortunately, there is no rain date.

For decades, Bowiefest has brought neighbors together to celebrate the spirit of our community—with local businesses, live entertainment, and family fun. Its absence this year will certainly be felt.

However, the spirit of Bowiefest will live on. If you are a business or organization that was registered to participate, we’d love to spotlight you in an upcoming edition of the Bowie Insider. It’s our way of honoring your community involvement and helping you stay connected with local residents.
