Bowie Town Center’s Future Needs Your Ideas

Imagine a Bowie Town Center with more local coffee shops, places to meet friends, a farmers market, artisan vendors, and welcoming community spaces. What would make you want to spend more time there?

Now is the time to speak up.

The City of Bowie is asking residents to help reimagine Bowie Town Center. In BowiePulse, residents have already shared ideas such as free or low-cost gathering spaces for book clubs, writers’ groups, mutual aid organizations, clubs, and civic groups, along with space for farmers and artisan markets—similar to the community atmosphere at Savage Mill in Laurel.

Bring your ideas to the October 8 Open House, 5:30–7:30 p.m. at City Hall, or attend the Virtual Community Meeting on October 14, 6:30–7:30 p.m.

Don’t wait until changes are made to say what Bowie Town Center needs. Help shape its future now.
