Bowie Decisions Are Being Made—Stay in the Know

Want to know what’s happening in Bowie beyond the headlines? Attending a Bowie City Council meeting is one of the easiest ways to stay connected to decisions affecting our community.

Bowie Regular City Council meetings give residents an opportunity to hear directly about city projects, proposed policies, budgets, development, public safety, community programs and other issues that can shape everyday life in Bowie. They also provide a chance to hear questions and concerns raised by fellow residents.

You don’t have to be a government expert or have a complaint to participate. Sometimes simply listening is enough to better understand how decisions are made and what may be coming next.

An informed community is an engaged community. Consider attending an upcoming meeting, watching a meeting online, or reviewing the agenda beforehand. Your neighborhood, your tax dollars and your Bowie experience are all part of the conversation.
