Keep It Loose: New Recycling Rules Enforced in Prince George’s County

Prince George’s County has intensified its efforts to enforce the ban on plastic bags in recycling. As part of the new measures, any recyclable items placed inside plastic bags will be left uncollected. To comply with the regulations, residents are urged to ensure that all recyclables are placed loosely in their bins. The county aims to improve the efficiency of its recycling program and reduce contamination caused by plastic bags, which are not recyclable through the regular curbside system.
