Little Miner Taco Tackles School Lunch Debt This Giving Tuesday

Little Miner Taco, a beloved local restaurant, kicked off a heartwarming initiative this Giving Tuesday aimed at supporting Prince George’s County Public Schools. The mission? To help pay down the district’s school lunch debt and ensure that students in need have access to meals without financial barriers.

Recognizing the impact that unpaid lunch debt has on students and families, Little Miner Taco is rallying the community to join their efforts. Through donations collected at their locations and online, the restaurant hopes to make a significant difference for children who rely on school meals.

“Food brings people together, and we want to give back to the community that has supported us,” said the team at Little Miner Taco.

Their Giving Tuesday campaign highlights the power of local businesses in creating meaningful change. Together, they aim to ease the burden for families and ensure no child goes hungry at school.
