Bowie Police Show Support for Breast Cancer Awareness in October

Throughout October, Bowie police officers are sporting special badges to show their support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The pink-themed badges are a visible reminder of the department’s commitment to raising awareness and supporting those affected by breast cancer. Many officers and community members have been touched by this disease, either personally or through loved ones. By wearing these badges, the Bowie Police Department honors those currently battling breast cancer, survivors, and those who have lost their lives to it. In addition, the department aims to encourage ongoing efforts to find a cure. This initiative is part of a broader effort to keep the community engaged and informed while showing solidarity with individuals and families facing this challenge.
