The Alert Bowie system keeps residents informed with real-time emergency updates and essential messages from the City of Bowie, ensuring safety and awareness wherever you are. It provides alerts through the Everbridge mobile app, text messages, email, and phone calls (cell or landline).

Subscribers can choose from three categories:

1. Emergency Alerts: Automated weather warnings, hazardous situations (e.g., gas leaks), and national or local emergencies.

2. Public Safety Messages: Crime alerts, traffic issues, and health notices.

3. Bowie E-News: City newsletters like Bowie Spotlight (monthly) and Bowie Brief (weekly), and updates on government closures or service changes.

Residents can customize their preferences to receive alerts most relevant to them, staying connected and informed.

Paint, Sip & Unwind at Belair Mansion: Reserve Your Spot

Join in for an evening of creativity and relaxation at the beautiful Belair Mansion! Unleash your inner artist with a glass of your favorite beverage in hand. No painting experience is needed—The Red Apron Artist will provide step-by-step guidance to help you create your own masterpiece. Located at 12207 Tulip Grove Drive, Bowie, MD 20715, doors open at 6:00 PM, and the event starts promptly at 6:30 PM. Guests are welcome to bring their own beverages, and light snacks will be provided. The fee is $35 per person. Invite your friends and reserve your spot today for a night of painting and fun!
