Community Matters: Meet Chief Dwayne A. Preston and Bowie Police Today
Join Chief Dwayne A. Preston, his Command Staff, and the Bowie Police Department on September 25 for the "Community Matters" event, a unique opportunity for residents to engage with local law enforcement. This free event offers a chance to meet the dedicated officers who protect our community, ask questions, and discuss any concerns. Open to all Bowie residents, "Community Matters" fosters transparency and strengthens the relationship between the police and the public. Come out and help build a safer, more connected community! Don’t miss this opportunity to make your voice heard.

Pitch Your Product: Local Small Businesses Invited to Nationals Park
The Washington Nationals are offering a unique opportunity for DMV-based small businesses to showcase their food and beverage products at Nationals Park during the 2025 season. The Pitch Your Product initiative invites local restaurateurs and suppliers to apply by October 9 for a chance to present their culinary concepts to a judging panel on October 23-24. Special consideration will be given to vendors offering items for specialty diets, such as vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options.
Selected vendors will have the opportunity to sell their products at all Nationals games and events throughout the season. Businesses must meet health and safety regulations and collaborate on product details with Levy Restaurants. Applications can be requested until October 8. This is a great chance to gain exposure at a major venue!
